After 3 more days of battling City of Atlanta, we have finally gotten their approval to be a daycare center!! I will be picking up the permit in the morning and scheduling our CO inspection directly after. We expect Bright from the Start to come out directly after they receive our CO (per Renee Parlier, Director of Applicant Services at Bright from the Start). We will schedule the CO inspection for Friday/Monday depending on availability. I do not foresee any issues as we are only seeking a conversion on our CO. Then it will be up to BFTS to follow through on their end.
So it is with immense excitement that I ask you...if and when you will be returning to SoulShine?! We ask in order to resend registration documents required by BFTS. We expect to be open by Wednesday at the latest but I will email you on Monday with the last minute timeline.
This process almost broke my spirit, but it has at the same time ignited a fiery passion within me to see justice given to the children of Georgia. For those of you patient and dedicated souls who have stood by me and SoulShine... I can never thank you enough. I began this journey December 20, 2006 because of the love I have for your children. And it's because of that love that I have only grown stronger. I will see you soon because NOTHING CAN STOP US NOW!
