SoulShine Campers

Thanksgiving week camp was full of fun for everyone!  We were able to squeeze in lots of play and even a trip to see Puss in Boots on Monday, which is a great movie.  Then a trip to the Historic Fourth Ward Park was on Tuesday.   SoulShine loves camp days where we get to spend the whole day with the sweet children. 

Don't forget to sign up for December Holiday Camp!!  Slots are filling up fast and we have lots of fun planned!

SoulShiners love to get their hands dirty!!

Friday "Farm Days" at the Oakleaf Mennonite Farm  has been a huge hit and the kids love to take a trip to the farm to learn a little about planting and growing plants and vegetables.

Well, last Friday, the farmer (Mr. Bremen) came to SoulShine so we could have a little piece of the farm right in our front yard!!  With the help of the children we planted some lettuce, cabbage, cilantro, and chives.

The kids are already beginning to see their hard work come to fruition!

Crafts of Change

SoulShine is proud to partner with Crafts of Change Club!!  Crafts of Change is offering many exciting opportunities to learn to craft.  We offer children classes and adult classes.  The adult classes have free childcare available if needed, so take advantage of this chance to learn something you've always wanted to know how to do while your babies are watched after by the SoulShine staff.  Please check out the Crafts of Change page on our blog for more information.

Happy Halloween

SoulShine had a very Happy Halloween and we hope you did too!!  Our little SoulShiners dressed up in the cutest costumes in town, but there was no candy in sight...we opted to treat with hugs, not candy!  And, there were lots of hugs to go 'round!!
